Welcome to Clicxsafe. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website, mobile application, and security services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account, completing checkout, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Clicxsafe is a security-assistant and privacy-protection platform. We provide tools such as breach checking, suspicious link analysis, scam message review, password guidance, 2FA setup help, and AI-assisted security advice. The Service is informational and assistive, it is not a substitute for professional cybersecurity software, legal advice, or insurance. We do not guarantee that any tool will detect every threat.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your country).
You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your password confidential.
You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.

3. Subscriptions, billing & auto-renewal

Clicxsafe is sold as a recurring subscription. By subscribing you authorise us, or our payment processor, to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

Initial charge. The amount shown at checkout is charged immediately.
Renewal. Your plan renews automatically at the renewal price and frequency disclosed at checkout (for example, every 14 days, monthly, or yearly).
Price changes. If the renewal price changes we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the next renewal.
Billing descriptor. Charges appear on your statement as CLICXSAFE.COM.
Failed payments. If a renewal fails, we may retry the charge for a short period and may suspend access until payment is received.

4. Cancellation

You can cancel any time from Dashboard → Billing & Account, or by contacting support@clicxsafe.com. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the current paid period. We do not pro-rate partial periods unless required by law.

5. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the Service to attack, scan, or harm systems you don't own or have permission to test.
Submit content that is illegal, fraudulent, infringing, or abusive.
Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to disrupt the Service.
Resell or sublicense the Service without our written consent.
Use the Service to bypass security controls of third parties.

7. Account suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, if we suspect fraud or abuse, or if required by law. You may close your account at any time from your dashboard or by contacting support.

8. Service limitations & "as is"

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties and do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or able to detect every threat. You remain responsible for keeping your devices, software, and backups up to date.

9. Liability limitations

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clicxsafe is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

10. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, branding, and content, is owned by Clicxsafe S.L. (legal entity, update with registered name) and its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use during an active subscription. All other rights are reserved.

11. Third-party services

The Service may rely on third-party providers (for example, payment processors, infrastructure providers, and AI model providers). Their terms apply when you interact with their services through Clicxsafe.

12. Privacy

Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. By using the Service you confirm you have read it.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or in-product notice at least 14 days before they take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the current version.

14. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Kingdom of Spain. The courts of Courts of Madrid, Spain have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except where mandatory consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim in your country of residence. Before bringing a formal claim, please contact us at support@clicxsafe.com so we can try to resolve it directly.
